    Description

An historic World War II German propaganda parody of a British One-Pound bank note air-dropped in 1942-43 by the Luftwaffe over North Africa and the Middle East, especially Egypt. Contains a lengthy message concerning the weakening value of British money. The infamous German war cry, "God destroy England!" now reads on this note, in stilted dictionary Arabic, as "Truly, Allah wills the collapse of Britain".
